At the upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka, the India Pavilion’s Corporate Zone is capturing attention by spotlighting two of the country’s most influential institutions—IFFCO (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited) and NDDB (National Dairy Development Board). These organisations represent India’s global leadership in agricultural innovation, cooperative development, and the dairy sector.
Set under the theme “Connecting Himalayas with Mount Fuji,” India’s participation at the Expo aims to foster deeper ties between the innovation landscapes of India and Japan. The presence of IFFCO and NDDB underscores India’s strategic focus on sustainable agriculture and dairy excellence, sectors that are critical for both rural development and economic resilience.
NDDB, the backbone of India’s Operation Flood and a pillar in India’s dairy policy evolution, is expected to showcase advancements in milk production, value-added dairy products, and eco-friendly dairy practices. Meanwhile, IFFCO, globally recognised for empowering farmers, will display cutting-edge agricultural technologies that support productivity and sustainability.
Experts believe this global platform will not only strengthen India’s diplomatic and trade relations with Japan but also reinforce India’s brand as a rising force in the global dairy and agri-tech space.
“India’s cooperative model—led by institutions like NDDB and IFFCO—is a blueprint for inclusive rural development and dairy self-sufficiency. Presenting this at Expo 2025 Osaka marks a proud moment for our sector,” said an Dairy Expert.
